Waste management is a vital public health and environmental service that affects every member of our community. Hawkesbury City Council is committed to working towards the NSW Government's waste reduction targets by increasing recycling rates and diverting waste from landfill.

Council is developing a long-term Waste Strategy to help us achieve these targets. This survey aims to help Council understand our community’s priorities, preferences and needs regarding waste services and reducing waste. This information will help in shaping the Strategy and planning future actions that meet community expectations.
