Hawkesbury City Council is inviting community members to comment on Council’s proposal
to establish an additional category of fee waiver or reduction within its Adopted 2021/2022 Operational Plan.
The proposed category relates to applications submitted to Council to carry out construction or reconstruction works on a property either directly affected by the March 2021 flood event or subject where residents are affected by prolonged disturbance as a result of road closures arising from the March 2021 flood event, the applicable application assessment fees (Development Application and Construction Certificate) will be waived for applications lodged up until 30 June 2022. This excludes statutory fees.
Council will receive online submissions HERE or addressed to the General Manager, by mail to Hawkesbury City Council, PO Box 146 Windsor NSW 2756, or email to council@hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au received up to close of business on Wednesday, 6 October 2021.

The inclusion of personal information in your submission is voluntary, however, if not provided, may affect consideration of the submission. The information will ultimately be stored in Council’s records system.
