Total number of surveys received 142.

Majority of people currently use the play equipment or use the open grass area to kick a ball/play sports. Ideas to improve the playspace included (but not limited to) support to upgrade the play equipment, making it larger and more exciting, use of bright colours, provide more shade, and include bins, bubblers, seating and a new sign. 82% of survey responses supported the current location for the upgraded playspace.

Overall we received a large range of great play ideas, these ideas will be incorporated into the final design, the designs will look to balance both the communities input and the budget available for the upgrade.

Next steps: Council Officers will be developing designs incorporating your feedback over the coming 3 months and we will present the final design by early 2024. Construction is planned to commence early to mid-2024.
