The Hawkesbury's much-loved Hawkesbury Oasis Aquatic and Fitness Centre will receive upgrades to expand upon the current centre and provide overall better amenities for patrons.

The Hawkesbury Oasis Aquatic and Fitness Centre is a high use facility, providing sport, fitness and leisure services for the local government area and surrounding districts.

The proposed improvements as part of the upgrade include:

  • Children’s splash park
  • New shallow-depth program pool for learn to swim and seniors programs, including accessibility ramp and hydrotherapy programs
  • Extended group fitness room
  • Climbing wall facility
  • Additional school-age amenities for private use during school events
  • New covered deck to connect changerooms to the outdoor café
  • Touchpads at the end of the main pool
  • Extended child-minding areas
  • Additional carparking to cater for large events
  • Outdoor gym

Completing the below survey will provide vital information that will inform the early concept planning. At the Concept Stage, first draft plans will be shared here, on Your Hawkesbury-Your Say, for the community to review and provide further feedback before moving into more detailed planning stages.

The Hawkesbury Oasis Aquatic and Fitness Centre upgrades will be funded through the NSW Government's Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program. The Program will see $2 billion worth of transformational infrastructure delivered across Western Sydney.
